I am a feminist organiser and an independent researcher-writer & consultant based in Islamabad, Pakistan, with an undergraduate degree in law. Between 2018 and 2019, I did my MA in Gender Studies and Law at SOAS, University of London on the Chevening Scholarship, and won the Programme Prize for my degree.
My work is interdisciplinary in nature and mostly revolves around feminism, pop culture, critical legal studies, and the internet. I was part of the South Asia Speaks 2022 cohort and am currently working on my first non-fiction book. I also serve as the Associate Editor and Communications Director at South Asian Avant-Garde (SAAG). In the mornings, I work at the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR), Pakistan, as their Research and Knowledge Production Lead.
